I’m guilty of taking for granted how fragile life truly is
I’m guilty of putting off things for another day
I’m known to hold onto grudges and for delaying apologies and holding back forgiveness
I’m human
I make mistakes
I am guilty of being too hard on myself
On others
I’m not always the first to apologize or to admit to defeat
But as I sit here thinking
I am reminded that life is fragile
Tomorrow really isn’t promised
So while I still have breath in my lungs I’m choosing to live and love in this very moment
